Throughout the year the Club runs a number of social functions ranging from the formal, such as the annual dinner, to the informal such as quizzes, casino and karaoke nights.

This season is no different. The events to be held at or around the club are listed below:

This season we have already had the Swimarathon which  raised £600 for the Club and the brewery tour which raised a lot of sore heads!

We had a behind the scenes tour of Lord's during the Sussex vs MCC match. Clare Skinner, the Media Manager, showed us around the museum and the media centre. An excellent tour it was too. See the photos in the Gallery section.

The next Event

Pre- season Quiz

The Tingley-Knights won the quiz and scooped the "Tim Hutchings unwanted trophy" trophy to keep for a year. It was last seen clutched tightly by Tingley in the back of a cab. The raffle prize of two tickets to a Twenty/20 match was won by a delighted Xavier Hill.
Thanks to Viv and Jerry for putting together an interesting and challenging quiz, to Josie and Jack for their work behind the scenes and to Gary Parker for providing the raffle prize.

This is what you were  playing for in the Quiz! Standing nearly 15 inches tall  this magnificent trophy will look good on my mantlepiece!

Other forthcoming events:

Triple Wicket

The Triple wicket competition will take place on 15th June.

Graham Wright Memorial Match

This will take place on Saturday 16th August.

Annual Dinner and Awards presentation

Will take place on 19th September at the Mid Sussex Golf Club.

The Gala Dinner

Date and venue to be confirmed but it will be in November at a venue to be decided.
