The Club runs two senior sides both playing in the Sussex Invitation League. In 2008 we shall also be running a 3rd XI playing in the Stoner Conference. This league is aimed at the "young and their dads"
2007 was a transitional year as we tried to incorporate more of our young cricketers into the senior sides. The results were not as good as we hoped but things look a lot brighter for 2008.
We are planning to run a full schedule of Sunday fixtures in 2008. These games will usually be played by a team comprising of a mixture of age groups, primarily aimed at giving our junior members the opportunity to play senior cricket away from the more competitive Saturday league fixtures.

The 2007 1st XI skipper was Leroy Pelling (on the left in the above picture). He started his career as a junior and has played his way up through the club.
The 2nd XI skipper is "Tall" Paul Morgan (On the right in the above picture). Paul will be supported by "Unlucky" Alan Ridgewell in the 2008 season. Alan is not unlucky because he is Paul's vice skipper. Alan just seems to get hit rather a lot by cricket balls.
For the 2008 season, the 1st XI will be captained by Mike Corless, supported by Nick Wright as his deputy and the 3rd XI will be captained by Simon Berrill.
