Like many small clubs funding is a major issue for Scaynes Hill Cricket Club. Our current membership, at both senior and junior level, can only sustain the club to a certain level. Funds, therefore, have to be generated from a variety of different sources.

The Swimarathon

The Haywards Heath Lions swimarathon took place at the Olympus Centre in Haywards Heath on Good Friday.
The Club entered 3 teams of 6 swimmers. The teams had to swim as many lengths as they could in 55 minutes.
After the allotted time they had swum just under 400 lengths or nearly six and a half miles!
It was a fantastic effort by all the swimmers who raised a total of nearly £1200 which will be shared 50/50 between the Club and St. Peter and James' Hospice.
The event will be held again next year so get into training now!

Bonus Ball

We need funds coming into the Club throughout the year. That is why the Bonus Ball competiton is so important. Based on the Bonus Ball drawn each week in the Lotto if your number is selected you will win £25. It costs £5 a month to enter.  We currently have 5 numbers available.
